Atlanta

Staying in a treehouse was the best experience ever! I would have never imagined living out my childhood dream but Airbnb made it come to life. I stumbled upon this GORGEOUS secluded treehouse in the heart of Atlanta, Georgia by Google searching the word, "east coast treehouses." It was love at first click and I knew I had to somehow visit this piece of art. Only two guests were allowed per night so I asked my childhood friend/travel buddy, Jessica to join me on this wondrous adventure. We booked our tickets the next day and patiently waited for five months.

When I first stepped in front of the treehouse, it looked more beautiful in person. The crisp fall air, the Christmas lighting, the outdoor bed, and the details on each corner were absolute bliss. Peter, our hospitable host, was very informative, considerate, funny, and easy-going which made this entire experience very comfortable. Not to mention, his adorable dog Daisy who greeted us at the door was oh so sweet. It was the perfect place to stay up at night in your PJs  and talk about life with one of your closest friends...with a bottle of wine of course!  I woke up at 6:40AM to capture the remaining moments I had before checkout because I didn't want to say goodbye so soon. It was so worth it!

We had a jam packed schedule that we needed to checkoff in three days. We ate tons of delicious Southern cooking, knocked out a few touristy spots, and explored the quaint city. On our second night, Jessica found the adorable Stonehurst bed and breakfast that treated us like royalty. There were cupcakes, brownies, wine, and a 2-course breakfast that left us feeling spoiled and 20lbs heavier. It was magnificent and a great way to stay on our last night in Georgia!
